Why Pamukkale
Pamukkale — "cotton castle" — is a cascade of brilliant white travertine terraces filled with warm, mineral-rich water, formed over millennia. Above it stands Hierapolis, the Roman spa city that grew up around the springs.
It is a half-day of pure spectacle. We time it for soft light and thinner crowds, and pair it with the wider Aegean interior.
