Bozcaada is a small island off the North Aegean coast, known for its vineyards, wineries, a castle by the harbour and an old Greek quarter of cobbled streets.
It is a favourite weekend escape for Istanbul locals. We plan it for a slow few days of wine, swimming and sunsets by the windmills.

Do you need a car on Bozcaada?
Not usually. The island is small and walkable, and bikes or local taxis cover the beaches.
Is Bozcaada busy in summer?
Yes, especially in July and August. Ferry and hotel bookings well in advance are essential.
