Didim is home to Didyma, the colossal Temple of Apollo, which was one of the most important oracles of the ancient world. Its massive columns still dominate the town centre.
The town also has sandy beaches, and it is an excellent base for Miletus, Priene and the landscapes of Lake Bafa.
